Are you looking for information or advice on things that affect your family? Like finding and paying for local childcare, family support services or leisure activities for all the family but don't know where to start, then you've come to the right place.

We offer free and impartial information, advice and assistance on a wide range of services for all your family, including services for those who have, or may have special needs, behaviour or emotional difficulties. Whether you are a parent / carer, child, young person or a professional working with families our service is packed with information just for you.

Information zones

Click each of the following 'zones' on the FIS website for really useful on-line information:

  • Family Zone is for parents and carers. Includes information about baby, toddler and childrens activities, childcare, parenting, health and support services. Visit the family zone.

  • Kid’s Zone is for 5 -10's. Includes information about local clubs and activities telling you about things you can take part in locally. Visit the kid's zone.

  • Youth Zone is for 11-25's. Includes information about local clubs, activities and services for young people. Visit the youth zone.

  • Professional Zone is for those working with children, young people and families. Keeping you updated and informed. Visit the professional zone.

If you are a service provider you can register and include information on the FIS database free of charge. Please contact us to register.
