Caerphilly Children's Centre

Welcome to Caerphilly Children's Centre! Caerphilly Children's Centre supports children and young people with developmental difficulties by offering clinical and therapeutic appointments as well as leisure activities which are supported through Sparkle.

Caerphilly Children's Centre also supports the families of children and young people with developmental difficulties by offering support groups and coffee mornings.

  • Dietetic Service
  • Child Development Advisory Service
  • ISCAN (Integrated Service for Children with Additional Needs)
  • ISCAN Care Co-ordination
  • Family Liaison Officer (FLO)
  • Helping Hands Psychology Service
     

The following resources and facilities are available at Caerphilly Children's Centre:

  • Purpose built hydrotherapy pool with hoist (Currently Closed)
  • Treatment rooms in a variety of sizes that facilitate a range of treatments
  • Flying Start
  • Rebound room
  • Gym Facilities for individual and group treatment
  • Action for Children
  • Outdoor park and play area
     

About the Centre

Caerphilly Children's Centre is located off Cwrt Llanfabon on Heol Las and has a dedicated car park at the front entrance.

Caerphilly Children's Centre has facilities and treatment rooms which are accessible on the ground floor. Upon entering the centre, patients will be welcomed into the main waiting and reception area where there is a selection of sensory toys and a television. From the waiting area patients will be directed by a member of staff to a variety of treatment and therapy rooms.

At the rear of the building there is an outdoor play area with swings and a slide that is available for children and young people and their families to use whilst waiting for their appointment or following their appointment.
